Greg Lamb- Guitar, Vocals, Harmonica
Started out musical career as a lead vocalist. Influenced heavily by 70’s three chord rock. Led Zeppelin, Montrose, Bad Co., UFO etc. Greg’s emotionally charged vocals are powerful and unique. Inspiration for the guitar came from Tommy Bolin, Gary Moore, Micheal Schenker, Robin Trower & Johnny Winter to name a few. Greg toured Florida throughout the late 80’s and recorded @ the famed Criteria Studios in Miami w/ Tom Allom producing. After the sessions he went to NY City to audition for A&R reps from all labels. With the music scene changing and grunge up & coming he stayed true to his roots and continued to play blues based rock. Honing his guitar skills became his way to get his musical ya-yas out as he stepped out of the spotlight for a few years. Greg re-emerged on the music scene as a guitarist/vocalist and hooked up with bassist Brian Dalbey and drummer Spencer Ely and formed the power trio King’s Highway with a burning desire to write songs again. The songs were well received and keybordist Tom Cortese was brought into the band, adding a whole new dimension and endless possibilities. King’s Highway is a serious blues/rock band with strong original material and great energy. The band’s philosophy is to write songs for the people and want their fans to know what to expect from them in their musical offerings. Their desire to stay true to the music makes them a must see band for fans who love energy infused blues.
Brian Dalbey- Bass and Vocals
Picking up bass guitar in High School, Brian learned his first chops playing along to various 80’s metal greats like Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Van Halen & Rush. He played in various metal and rock bands through the 80’s and 90’s while perfecting his high energy presence on stage.
Brian joined band mates Greg Lamb and Spencer Ely with the idea of doing original blues music. After bringing in Tom Cortese on keyboards, the result is a kick a$$ group of musicians, who with their various influences create and amazing blues rock sound they refer to as “Blues that leaves a bruise”!
Brian brings high energy and low down dirty bass lines, along with over 20 years of musical experience to the group. With blues bass influences like Tommy Shannon, The Evil One, and bass legend John Paul Jones, Brian has formed his own unique style of bringing the low end to King’s Highway!
